District 13A incumbent Bud Heidgerken-R, addresses the Glenwood Debate Minnesota audience. |
Debate Minnesota is proud to have its successes documented in the local media. The inaugural year received high praise in newspapers from all around the state, and we expect even more coverage in 2006, as Debate Minnesota gears up for an exciting and important election year.
“Unlike many nationally broadcast debates, the Minnesota series will be real debates with give and take from the candidates, not modified news conferences. The debates won’t be about two-minute sound bytes. Candidates will find themselves in a format that allows them to give substantive answers to questions about serious issues.” (Jack Zaleski, The Forum)
